JBC Training expands into Leicester
A Coventry-based computer training specialist has opened up a new centre in Leicester after securing finance from Barclays Corporate. JBC Training said it was the start of an expansion plan across the East Midlands.
The compnay offers ICT apprenticeships to 16-18 year olds and adult learning courses.
After expanding into Leicester, the company said it plans to open up a site in Northampton in the next year.
The Leicester centre can host up to 40 apprentices on its programme which covers the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems.
JBC's expansion, which was completed after securing an undisclosed funding package, has created seven new jobs.
Richard Fray, relationship director at Barclays Corporate, said: "JBC have become a well established training provider within the Warwickshire area and I am delighted that we have been able to support their expansion across the border into Leicestershire."
