International trade manager appointed to Barclays
Greg McCall has been appointed international and trade manager for Barclays Business in the Midlands.
McCall will work within the Barclays Business team, specialising in working with small and medium sized companies with a turnover of up to £5m.
He joins existing manager John Sharpe and will be responsible for helping Midlands businesses consider expanding into international markets.
McCall said: "I am delighted to be moving into this role which provides me with an opportunity to work with our network of business managers and their customers to discuss the possibilities of expanding their business into international markets.
"In this difficult economic climate, many businesses don’t know if they should be expanding, contracting or sitting tight and often need a sounding board to discuss their options.
"But one thing for certain is that SMEs are crucial to the UK economy, and at Barclays Business we are working hard to support our customer’s aspirations and business growth."
