DBK wins £10m Cube contracts

Construction consultancy DBK Partners has been appointed to provide development monitoring services on three projects at The Cube. Contracts including a fit-out of the Hotel Indigo and Steakhouse Bar and Grill total £10m.

Working on behalf of Sanguine Hospitality, DBK will manage the Marco Pierre White restaurant at the Birmingham site, which will be located on the 25th floor.

The Steakhouse Bar and Grill - a 14,200 sq ft project - includes a separate bar and open air rooftop terrace.

DBK will also fit out of new four-star Hotel Indigo – a 52 bedroom boutique hotel on the 23rd and 24th floors, due to open in December this year. Finally, the construction company will also monitor the construction of The Cube's 15,000 sq ft club and health spa.

Kevin Theobold, senior partner at DBK, said: "We continue to assist our client to expand their portfolio in the UK following completion of the Hotel Indigo in Liverpool and our appointment on Hotel Indigo in Newcastle. We are delighted to be involved in such a high profile flagship project in Birmingham which, when completed, will boost Birmingham’s tourist offer."
