Premiership rugby club Leicester Tigers have agreed a ten-year, multimillion-pound deal with retailer Kitbag.

Manchester-based Kitbag will become the official retail partner for the rugby team and will manage all aspects of the Leicester Tigers' retail business.

As part of the deal, the team's stadium store on Welford Road will undergo a complete redevelopment, doubling in size to 2,000 sq ft.

Supporters will also be able to order items in-store for delivery and have items delivered to their homes.

Leicester Tigers' managing director, David Clayton, said: "This is an exciting time for the club. The investment that Kitbag is making in our business promises to really set us apart from other teams in terms of our retail offer.

"Kitbag’s unrivalled experience in retail, combined with the company’s passion and commitment to our brand, will ensure our supporters are provided with a first class service."
