Shakespeares grows Nottingham office
Law firm Shakespeares has appointed Cathryn Selby to its Nottingham office. Selby joins the commercial litigation team from law firm Irwin Mitchell.
At Irwin Mitchell's Sheffield office, Selby was national head of professional negligence and head of commercial litigation for more than five years.
Selby said: "I am delighted to be joining Shakespeares and over the coming months I will be looking to help build the company’s commercial litigation presence in the East Midlands. My own personal specialism is professional negligence and I will using my expertise to increase market share in this sector and grow Shakespeares' profile.
"I am confident that there is a tremendous opportunity for the firm across the Midlands market and I am looking forward to helping the commercial litigation team to fulfil its potential."
Shakespeares is the new trading name for Berryman in Nottingham; Shakespeare Putsman in Birmingham and the Birmingham, Stratford and Cotswolds locations of Needham & James. The firm employs 420 people with annual revenues of £28m.
