Gateley leads Silverdell buy
Law firm Gateley's Birmingham office has acted for asbestos removal contractor Silverdell on its acquisition of AH Allen.
Gateley's corporate team led the deal in which Silverdell bought the Hull-based asbestos management team, which has a £1.2m turnover.
Essex-based Silverdell said it would merge the business into its existing specialist consultancy Redhills.
Redhills provides specialist surveying, consulting, analysis and compliance services on all aspects of hazardous and waste materials management.
Gateley's Birmingham team closed the deal alongside AH Allen's legal advisers at John Barkers and Silverdell's finance director, Ian Johnson.
Katie Silvester, partner in Gateley's M&A team, led the transaction.
