Livery Place refurb kicks off
Work has started on a multimillion-pound refurbishment programme to upgrade four flours of office space at Livery Place in Birmingham.
Property fund manager Highcross, which operates Livery Place, is investing £1m in the building, located in the Colmore Business District.
Once the refurbishment is complete, the first four floors (36,600 sq ft) will be at grade A specification.
Highcross said the project was the biggest refurbishment scheme to take place in Birmingham this year.
Birmingham-based office fit-out specialist City Office Interiors is carrying out the work.
This latest phase of refurbishment at Livery Place follows the completion of earlier work in which Highcross invested £3m to upgrade the 5th to 7th floors and reception area.
Tenants at Livery Place include Badenoch & Clark, GoIndustry Dovebid, ERG and Smith Cooper. Packt Publishing has also signed a pre-let on 3,690 sq ft of space in phase two of the building.
