West Mids nominations in Private Business Awards
Two West Midlands businesses have been shortlisted in the inaugural Private Business Awards.
Ventilation equipment manufacturer Elta Group, based in Kingswinford, has been shortlisted for Family Business of the Year, while Tamworth-based Instarmac is vying for the Employer of the Year title.
The awards are sponsored by accountant PwC, in association with HSBC Private Bank, and in support of the charity LEAP.
David Ball, vice chairman of Elta Group, said: "We are delighted to have been nominated for an award. We are truly a global team at Elta, with regional MDs fully engaged with the UK management team.
"This face-to-face engagement is part of the family culture that exists within the company and this extends through all of our staff and acquisition targets."
The award winners will be announced at a dinner at The Savoy Hotel, London on Thursday 8 September.
