Peacocks signs in Glossop
Clothing retailer Peacocks has agreed terms on a unit at the proposed 140,000 sq ft £12m Howard Town Shopping Park in Glossop.
The development, which is being funded by Peveril Securities and jointly developed with Real Estate Development Partnerships and RED Property Services, has already secured pre-let deals on a 20,000 sq ft M&S Simply Food store and and a 62-bed Travelodge. A number of other units are in solicitors’ hands.
Planning consent for the scheme was granted in May. Build ocntracts have been signed, allowing work to start this month. It is hoped the park will start trading in May 2012.
