Nelsons grows family law team
East Midlands law firm Nelsons has appointed Nussrat Bashir as a solicitor to its Nottingham-based family law team.
Prior to joining Nelsons, Bashir worked at Nottinghamshire County Council as a senior solicitor in the 'safeguarding vulnerable adults and child care' team.
In this role, which she held since June 2009, she was the lead on adoption law and was the legal adviser to Nottinghamshire's county adoption team.
Nelsons' head of family law services, Jayne Chilvers, said: "As a solicitor with almost 14 years of experience in all aspects of family law and particular expertise in adoption and children law matters, Nussrat will be an important asset to the team. We are delighted she is joining us to further her career."
Nelsons also has offices in Leicester and Derby.
