Share | |

Small businesses will be offered advice on how to expand their operations abroad at an event in Coventry tomorrow (29 June).

The Explore Export event, taking place at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall 2 at the Ricoh Arena, will involve more than 65 experts from British embassies, high commissions and consulates offering advice on a one-to-one basis. It offers free-of-charge entry.

The event will be hosted by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) which said more than 180 small businesses have already signed up to it.

Many sessions are overbooked though slots are still available with representatives from countries such as Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Colombia and Finland, UKTI said.

Doug Mahoney, UKTI's West Midlands based international trade director, said: "Explore Export is a must attend event for SMEs seriously considering their overseas options. The advice and knowledge of the commercial officers is being provided free of charge, which will enable companies to gain essential insight into their potential markets before making any further commitment."
