Houseproud changes home
A Retford-based kitchen and bathroom merchant has moved to new premises.
Houseproud, which has sold and installed bathrooms and kitchens for 30 years, has moved from its store on St John Street to the Trinity Park industrial estate. Lloyds TSB Commercial has helped fund the move.
The new two-storey, 8,600 sq ft site was built during a nine-month project and consists of warehouse and office space at the back as well as a showroom at the front. There is also parking space available for customers.
Jayne Adams, director of Houseproud, said: "We had begun to outgrow our previous site in the centre of Retford and decided that building our own premises provided the best option to allow us to sustain this growth.
"The new site allows us to offer an even better service to our customers and the fact that it is purpose-built meant we could include all the features we wanted and ensure the facilities were just right."
Lloyds TSB Commercial said it provided a loan to pay for the land and the construction of the building. Houseproud has 13 members of staff.
