Timico powers to another takeover
Newark-based Timico Technology Group has completed the takeover of Power Internet, based in Milton Keynes.
Powernet is said to be "one of the oldest, independently-owned internet service providers (ISPs) in the UK". It specialises in providing Wide Area Networks (WANs) to organisations with multiple locations.
Timico, an independent internet service provider in Newark, has now taken over five other businesses since it began in 2004.
MacIntyre Hudson's corporate finance team headed by partner Laurence Whitehead advised the vendors on the sale.
Whitehead was assisted by senior associate Craig Chamberlain and senior executive Brad Agnew.
Incumbent corporate law firm Harvey Ingram Borneos in Milton Keynes, represented by Andrew Kerr, provided legal support to the vendors.
