New team unvelied for Buller Jeffries' venture
Law firm Buller Jeffries has launched a team focusing on strategic and sensitive litigation. Derek Adamson and Caroline Coates are among the lawyers spearheading the Birmingham-based firm's new venture.
The firm, which employs 40 people across its Birmingham and Coventry offices, said it had identified the need to provide an "end to end, rapid response service for the most sensitive of issues".
Buller Jeffries' specialist team comprises litigation expert Derek Adamson; Denise Brosnan who specialises in cases regarding abuse, stress, bullying, dyslexia, claims against social services and educational professionals; and Caroline Coates and Rob Edwards, both specialising in inquests, product liability, group litigation and reputational litigation cases.
Coates said: "We have found some organisations are not always receiving the care and attention that some of their more complex issues require from their lawyers/advisers. Work is being pushed down to more junior, less experienced staff and this is just not the right way to deal with complex work that can have an enormous impact on a business if it goes wrong and can damage its reputation in a second.
"Our team here is one of the most experienced in the country and our reputation in some of the most daunting of cases, means we can be there for our clients every step of the way."
