Game, set and match for Coalville company

Schlüter-Systems, based in Coalville, has served up a new flooring system for this year's Wimbledon Championships. Several of the flooring manufacturer's products have been installed at Wimbledon's No 1 Court.

Several of the hospitality suites surrounding the 11,429 capacity court at the All English Lawn Tennis Club feature the orange Schlüter-DITRA matting product at the tournament.

Schlüter also supplied its movement and control joint product and Schlüter-TREP stair-nosing profiles to create slip-resistant stair edges.

Carl Stokes, divisional manager at Schlüter-Systems, said: "While tennis fans will have come to see the action on the famous green turf within number one court what they won’t see are our top ranked products providing a meticulous service beneath the hospitality areas whilst they tuck into their strawberries and cream.

"With around 450,000 visitors expected at Wimbledon over the championship fortnight alone, it's a great test of the products' ability to shine and one we know they will pass with flying colours."
