The owner of Loughborough motor dealer Arthur Prince has secured £1.5m funding from Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets. The Prince Group said it would use the investment to expand its East Midlands site.

The Arthur Prince site, which sells Peugeot vehicles, will undergo huge refurbishment and receive an extension, said the company.

Alongside the funding package, the deal also sees The Prince Group move its day-to-day banking to Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets.

John Clay, relationship director for Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets in the East Midlands, said: "The Prince Group is a long-standing and well-respected firm in the East Midlands and we're delighted to have been brought on-board at a time when the company is looking to expand its business.

"We look forward to supporting managing director Kel and his team as they continue to build on the business's strong foundations."
