The Parts Alliance, based in Solihull, has been awarded a contract worth more than £20m to supply braking products to Kwik-Fit.

The company, which distributes automotive parts, will supply all replenishment stocks to the nationwide chain in a two-year deal.

Mike Curry, sales director national accounts for The Parts Alliance, said: "This is a major contract win for The Parts Alliance and positions our group as a key player within national accounts.

"Our breadth of product range and our ability to provide a local service underlines our commitment to be the leading supplier to this industry sector."

The Parts Alliance, which operates 150 outlets across the UK, recently moved into its 10,000 sq ft offices in the centre of Solihull.

Curry added that over the last six months, the company has experienced "significant double digit growth" in their national account business, winning a number of recent supply contracts.

Kwik-Fit has 676 retail centres throughout the country.
