Ian Cornock and Jan Thompson are set to lead the merged office of Jones Lang LaSalle and King Sturge in Birmingham.

Cornock, previously at King Sturge, will become the head of office, while Jones Lang LaSalle's Thompson will become Midlands' regional chairman.

The newly merged company, JLL, has appointed David Lathwood, formerly of King Sturge, as its head of English and Welsh Regions.

Andrew Gould, Jones Lang LaSalle UK chief executive, said: "We have brought together outstanding leadership drawn equally from both original organisations. This tremendously powerful group will take our business forward across the UK. I have every confidence in their ability to provide outstanding client service and drive long-term growth."
