Hanson heads up East Midlands JLL office
Mike Hanson is set to head up the Nottingham office of commercial real estate business Jones Lang LaSalle after its merger with King Sturge is completed.
Hanson, who led King Sturge’s Nottingham operation before the merger, will keep his role after the deal has gone through. He has worked for the company since 2004.
The news comes after Jones Lang LaSalle revealed its reshuffled regional leadership, including the heads of its 16 city offices.
King Sturge merged with Jones Lang LaSalle on 31 May in a deal worth £197m. Jones Lang LaSalle paid £98m to the partners of King Sturge, with the remaining balance to be paid in cash over five years.
All 43 King Sturge offices and businesses across Europe, including 24 in the UK, have become part of Jones Lang LaSalle and will operate under its brand.
Andrew Gould, Jones Lang LaSalle's UK chief executive, said: "We have brought together outstanding leadership drawn equally from both original organisations. This tremendously powerful group will take our business forward across the UK. I have every confidence in their ability to provide outstanding client service and drive long-term growth."
