Share | |

Credit services provider LaSer is aiming to double its size by 2013. The Solihull-based company said sales increased 42 per cent to £1.2bn in its year-end results.

For the year to 31 December 2010, LaSer increased balances by 51 per cent and now plans to double the size of the business in the next two years.

Over the past year, the company increased its staff numbers by 10 per cent and said it made "considerable investment" in technology and new products.

Stephen Hunt, Chief executive of LaSer UK, said: "These results demonstrate the benefit of the investments we have made in terms of people, systems and processes, which have delivered new clients, increased sales, reduced costs and lower risk.

"We have achieved our target of becoming a £1bn business, a target put in place in 2006, one year ahead of schedule."

LaSer UK also has operations in Belfast.
