Aldridge company bolsters turnover
IT services business Netshield said it is on course to begin a recruitment drive as it revealed a projected 25 per cent boost in turbnover for the last 12 months.
The Aldridge-based business also said annual revenue had increased by 3 per cent. Netsheld has recruited two new employees, with plans to create another six positions.
Netshield has recruited Tiffany Leung as UK sales and marketing assistant and Sophie Loor as European marketing research assistant.
Both roles are newly created as the company said it prepares to expand across the UK.
Commercial director Richard Carty, said: "We have secured a significant number of new contracts for IT managed services and infrastructure work since the start of 2011.
"This has helped boost our turnover for the last 12 months and has given us a great start to the new financial year, which we anticipate will see a further 25 percent increase in turnover. Based on the recent and projected upturn in sales, and specifically the rapidly growing interest in our specialist IT services, we need to add resource and grow our team."
He added the company was a "significant way" towards securing a contract with a European-based organisation, which is set to be confirmed in the next two months.
