Pharmplex nurses Santander investment
Nottingham-based pharmacy group Pharmplex has secured the future of its Chilwell branch after completing a refinancing deal with Santander Corporate Banking.
The finance deal has allowed Pharmplex, which owns three pharmacies, to purchase the freehold for the site, as well as enabling the company to free-up additional working capital.
The company has also moved its full banking services to Santander.
Chilwell's Worsley Pharmacy is the only one in the village and is part of the government's Essential Small Pharmacy Scheme.
Mark Lawson, relationship director at Santander Corporate Banking’s East Midland's centre, said: "I am delighted we have been able to support Pharmplex."
