Experian agrees joint venture with business school
Information services giant Experian has joined forces with Nottingham Business School to launch a sponsored degree programme.
The company, which is based in the city, said it will be involved in selecting curriculum modules which will form part of the course.
The new BA (Hons) in management and leadership programme will begin in autumn 2011 with the first intake of 15 undergraduate students working at Experian throughout their three-year degree.
Simon O'Halloran, global leadership development director at Experian, said: "This is an innovative way to attract talent to our organisation and at the same time being able to offer exceptional career opportunities to students embarking on the next stage of their education.
"The combination of vocational and theory-based learning will give students a significant head start in their careers and we are delighted to be launching this in partnership with Nottingham Business School."
Applicants will apply through Experian who will work with Nottingham Business School to ensure that applicants meet the usual entry criteria for its degrees.
