Majestic Wine pours into Warwickshire
Majestic Wine Warehouses has bought the former Ford dealership site in Evesham. The company, which operates 160 stores throughout the UK, has taken a 15-year lease on the site.
The Watford-based chain of wine stockists will pay annual rent of £45,000 for the 4,685 sq ft property.
The two-storey building, on Foor Pools Lane, includes 30 car parking spaces.
Property agent Colliers International acted for the landlord, a private pension fund.
Majestic Wine was represented by Rapleys.
Ben Briant, senior surveyor in Colliers International's automotive and roadside team in Birmingham, said: "Majestic Wine is continuing its growth and looking for good roadside property. The former dealership is an ideal building, given its prominent location, and I'm sure they will trade very well on the site."
