East Mids head appointed at Yorkshire Bank
Yorkshire Bank has appointed a new head of professionals to cover its financial solutions centres in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester.
Susan Carter takes on the role as one of only three front line bankers in the UK to have passed the MBA course in legal practice management.
Carter has more than ten years' experience of working with the professional sector.
She said: "There are some pretty fundamental changes taking place which are going to affect the legal landscape for generations when the legal service act comes into force.
"Having this qualification gives me the confidence to tackle these issues and to guide firms through these challenging times. I consider myself to be in a privileged position of being an outsider looking into the legal profession and together with my financial experience it gives me credibility when providing advice on topical issues such as coping strategies, expansion, mergers and acquisitions."
