Minworth grows with site extension

The latest phase of Minworth Trade Park has been completed, extending the site by ten units. Two businesses have also signed leases on units within the estate.

The latest phase of development, C and G block, comprises 47,000 sq ft.

Formal suit hire company Peter Posh has signed up for a trade unit of 3,445 sq ft, while Susie Watson Designs has taken a warehouse unit of 6,120 sq ft. The design company said the facility would be used to distribute its handmade home furnishings.

Alex Luker of CBRE Investors, which operates the site, said: "Minworth Trade Park is going from strength to strength. We let over 25,000 sq ft last year and this letting at the latest phase on practical completion shows our confidence to expand the trade park was justified.

"Peter Posh has helped to widen our mix of tenants whilst Susie Watson Designs shows that our location in the centre of the UK is a major draw. Our agents Harris Lamb and Colliers International are close to securing more occupiers."

Minworth Trade Park is also home to occupiers including Magnet, Screw Fix, City Plumbing, Howdens and Plumb Center.
