Palletways drives fleet investment
Logistics company Palletways has invested £1.5m in a new vehicle fleet. The Lichfield-based company said the new vehicles were purchased to accommodate a growing client base.
Palletways' new vehicle fleet of 24 will operate out of depots in Birmingham and London.
The company said the additional lorries would serve both its domestic and international customers.
Andrew Turner, managing director of Palletways Owned Operations, said: "The investment in new fleet across these operations reflects the growth and success of our business, which has seen an increase of 15 per cent in volumes handled in the last year."
Palletways, which was set up in 1994, has about 280 depots across the UK and mainland Europe. The company handles about 21,000 pallets a day through nine hub facilities across Europe.
