Tax consultancy launches in Leicester
The Miller Partnerhip, a tax consultancy specialising in corporation tax advice, has opened in Leicester.
The new business, based in Museum Square, has been founded by tax specialist Pete Miller, who will run the new company alongside his wife Tracey.
Miller, the author of the guide Taxation of Company Reorganisations, said he set up the business after identifying a gap in the market.
He said: "The main aim of the new business is provide specialist advice on the taxation of corporate transactions and help clients to secure HMRC clearances for their transactions.
“There are a number of tax boutiques locally but most of them concentrate on private client/personal tax issues rather than the corporate side. We plan to fill the gap in the market and will focus solely on tax advice – not accountancy, corporate finance or any other finance related matters."
