Staffing Solutions grows into London
Leicester-based industrial recruitment consultancy Barker Ross Staffing Solutions has opened a new office in London.
The company said the move came after securing several major contracts with Buckinghamshire-based sandwich maker Adelie.
Staffing Solutions supplies staff to Adelie's sandwich manufacturing facilities at Tamworth and Milton Keynes during peak times, and more recently, to its site in Wembley.
The recruitment company, which already has offices in Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Milton Keynes, has now opened a new branch in Hayes, five miles from Heathrow Airport.
The Hayes office will employ a team of three senior industrial consultants and is managed by Mark Pacey, who has more than 12 years experience of the London industrial recruitment market.
He said: "Hayes is very central, offering convenient access to major industrial sites in areas such as Slough and Southall – where Adelie has a site – and of course, Heathrow. Heathrow Airport is home to so many industrial businesses including couriers and freight forwarders, and our proximity to it is bound to open up new opportunities."
Staffing Solutions, which already supplies about 35 temporary workers to Adelie’s Wembley facility, will be providing more than 40 to its Heathrow site.
