Birmingham Airport “needs to get its act together” - Grove
Outspoken industrialist David Grove, owner of Warwickshire-based Grove Industries, has said Birmingham Airport "needs to get its act together". Do you agree? Insider wants your views on the airport as part of a special upcoming feature.
Grove said the airport is "not user friendly" and called its passenger drop off system a "nightmare".
Claiming that he spent 50 minutes getting through passport control at a recent visit because of a broken iris reader and poor passenger management, Grove said: "I know people in Wolverhampton who fly out of Manchester, they dislike Birmingham that much."
We want to hear your thoughts on the airport.
The full interview with Grove, in which he also discusses private equity, tax and quangos, appears in the June 2011 edition of Midlands Business Insider.
