Charles Stanley stakes claim on JJFS

Share | |

Jobson James Financial Services (JJFS) has been bought by stockbroker Charles Stanley for £2.25m. The sale price of Birmingham-based JJFS was agreed on the condition of certain targets being achieved, said Charles Stanley this morning.

JJFS provides wealth management advice and services and advises on life and health assurance products.

Charles Stanley said the acquisition would contribute towards its "strategic positioning of building a stronger presence in the Midlands".

The existing senior management team on the wealth management and financial planning side of the business, including Richard Venner and Miles Goodworth, will remain on the board of JJFS with representatives from Charles Stanley.

JJFS's sister company, Jobson James Insurance Brokers, was not included in the acquisition. It will now operate as an unconnected stand alone business in Edgbaston.
