Turnover up at Wright Hassall
Leamington Spa law firm Wright Hassall said it has experienced a sixth successive year of increased turnover in its 2010 year-end results. The firm said annual turnover rose 9.4 per cent to £13m.
The 200-strong firm said it had witnessed an overall turnover rise of 28 per cent since the start of the recession.
Nick Abell, senior partner at Wright Hassall, attributed the rise to the firm's "very broad client base across the commercial sector".
He added: "We cover a broad spectrum and that has paid dividends. Areas such as litigation, tax, outsourcing and debt might not sound very glamorous but they are areas that continue to produce during a recession.
"However, the most important aspect of this is that, put simply, we are good at what we do and we have a very high degree of expertise.
"We offer a cost effective alternative to City firms at a time when people are increasingly anxious about what they are spending and ultimately I think if you offer better value for money, you are going to get better opportunities."
