Premier League clubs lose thousands after CRE8 collapse

Arsenal, Celtic, Rangers and West Ham are among a group of football clubs owed thousands of pounds following the collapse of CRE8 Publishing, which has its registered office in Northamptonshire.

A number of high-profile clubs have lost out after the printer of matchday magazines went into liquidation, papers have revealed.

The publisher’s liquidation documents show that Arsenal are owed £272,000, West Ham has more than £102,000 outstanding and Tottenham is owed more than £42,000.

Scottish Premier League clubs were also hit. Rangers are due close to £500,000 and Celtic has more than £400,000 outstanding.

Oldham Athletic and Aberdeen football clubs are both owed smaller amounts, while the Welsh Rugby Union is due £120,000.

In total CRE8 Publishing owes more than £2m to its creditors, according to a creditors' report carried out by Carter Clark.
