Forty jobs generated with restaurant opening
A restaurant opening in Lincoln is set to create 40 jobs in the region. Handmade Burger Co will open the doors to the latest diner in its chain at the Brayford Glassmill.
The 120-seater Lincoln site, which was previously occupied by fallen restaurant chain Tootsies, will be the company's ninth UK outlet.
Chris Sargeant, owner of Birmingham-based Handmade Burger Co, said: "We are delighted to be moving into Lincoln and expect the restaurant opening will create up to 40 jobs with the new restaurant team training together for six weeks.
"We pride ourselves on delivering quality food and award winning service and hope that diners in Lincoln will love the fresh food we make and the great variety we offer."
Lincoln-based chartered surveyor Hodgson Elkington secured the letting on behalf of Handmade Burger Company.
