Nottingham-based law firm Freeth Cartwright has negotiated a ten-year contract on behalf of a German medical organisation. The deal, which took two years to complete, will give Fresenius Medical Care GMBH responsibility for all dialysis centres previously run by Abu Dhabi's health services company.

Stephen Pearson, partner at the law firm, led the negotiations on behalf of negotiated Fresenius, based in Bad Homburg, Germany.

The deal gives Fresenius responsibility for managing all SEHA Dialysis Centres currently treating approximately 600 patients. SEHA is the corporate name of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, one of the largest employers in the Middle East.

SEHA were represented by Clifford Chance's London, Dusseldorf and Abu Dhabi offices.

Pearson said: "I believe that this shows the ability of major regional law firms such as Freeth Cartwright to negotiate international projects whilst maintaining our high standards of individual client care."
