Midlands' Apprentice candidate revealed
The new series of The Apprentice will feature just one candidate from the Midlands, it has been revealed. Melody Hossaini will fly the flag for the region when the new series of the reality TV show kicks off next week.
The 26-year-old is the founder and director of the Global Youth Consultancy Business. She said she has previously won the 'Woman of the Future Award' for her voluntary work.
Hossaini claims to have worked alongside 12 Nobel Peace Prize winners including Desmond Tutu, Dalai Lama and Sherin Ebadi. She was also trained on climate change by Al Gore, it is claimed.
Her motto is said to be: "Don't tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon."
The Midlands' sole hopeful is a far cry from the previous series of The Apprentice, which featured four businesswomen from across the region.
The seventh series of The Apprentice begins on 10 May.
