Nelstar moves to Wednesbury

Engineering company Nelstar UK has relocated to the Woods Bank industrial estate in Wednesbury. The company was founded by Black Country businessman Neal Hickman from the loft in his home.

Nelstar supplies engineering parts and components to construction and manufacturing sectors. He has taken a 1,128 sq ft unit at the Woods Bank Estate, which is owned and managed by London and Cambridge Properties.

Hickman founded the business in 2005 and hired a small office in Wolverhampton when demand outgrew his loft location.

The move to Woods bank Estate provides more storage space and will enable the business to grow further, said Hickman. The company supplies goods ranging from bespoke bearings to special purpose conveyor systems, sealants, fasteners, gearboxes and pneumatics.

Hickman said: “We have access to thousands of products and supply a whole range of 'engineering consumables'. Our work is mainly Midlands-based but includes clients with offices all over the country. We have built our reputation on product knowledge, product sourcing and service."
