Staffline takes on FourstaR
Outsourcing organisation Staffline has continued its acquisition quest with the purchase of Solihull-based recruitment company FourstaR Employment and Skills. Nottingham-headquartered Staffline bought the company for £3m.
Staffline, which has made five acquisitions in the past 12 months, said it expected the deal to generate revenue of about £90m over the next five years.
FourstaR was bought from Dutch company Fourstar Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lern Holding BV, registered in the Netherlands.
The company employs 170 people in the West Midlands in three training centres. They are located in Aston, King's Norton and Garretts Green. A fourth training centre is expected to open in July this year.
Staffline already operates offices in Coventry, Dudley, Stoke and Telford.
Andy Hogarth, chairman of Staffline, said the acquisition marked "an evolution in the Staffline business model".
He added: "FourstaR will sit well alongside our existing core services of outsourcing and training and will provide further diversification to Staffline's business."
