Translation People enters German market
The Translation People, based in Birmingham, has launched an office in Germany. The expansion comes after the translation service provider experienced an increase in annual turnover of 75 per cent in 2010.
After achieving export sales growth of 44 per cent last year, the company has announced plans to open an office in Bonn, Germany. The company launched in Paris last year and said it plans to target the US market next.
Jasmin Schneider, operations manager of The Translation People, said: "It’s been a strong start to the year both domestically and overseas, with our projected annual turnover now in excess of £3m.
"Following our successful launch in Paris last year the new German office will further increase our presence in Europe. Our team here in Birmingham already has a number of German-based clients and we are working closely with the new office to develop further business in the region.
"We’re targeting the American market too – and our Midlands division has recently won a major new contract with a US brand."
