Lifestyle Living enters Kent market
Lifestyle Living Group, which owns holiday and residential parks in Lincolnshire, has bought Saddlebrook Park on the Isle of Sheppey. The site is the company’s first in Kent and its ninth acquisition since the start of 2010.
Lifestyle said the site, which has 300 plots, will undergo redevelopment with the company adding a fleet of new static caravans, the refurbishment of the bar and restaurant and work on access roads.
The work will be funded by Lifestyle’s £10m investment fund, which was set up by the company to develop new and existing parks.
"Saddlebrook Park has the potential to be one of the South East’s leading holiday parks," said Lifestyle Living Group chief executive Peter Andreou.
"2010 saw our portfolio expand dramatically, with the addition of some of the most beautiful and popular holiday and residential parks in the UK. We will be making a number of further announcements in the coming months as our expansion programme continues."
Lifestyle, which was advised on the deal by Hallows Associates, says the move will safeguard four jobs at the site.
