Alzheimer's Society moves to LE3
Mental health charity Alzheimer’s Society has relocated its Leicester office to the LE3 business park on the outskirts of the city.
The charity moved from its office in the city centre to the business park, which is managed by Westleigh Commercial.
Its new office will cover Leicester city centre, Leicestershire and Rutland. The unit comprises 2,198 sq ft premises at the business park at Leicester Forest East.
Sally Grundy, support service manager, said: "Having spent at least ten years leasing a lodge in the city centre from Age Concern we felt we had to find a new location which provided us with more space and the opportunity for growth. Here at LE3 there is a definite sense of space and our new office is peaceful, light and feels particularly safe."
Alzheimer’s Society employs 12 people in the region, with up to seven on site at any one time. It is the second charity to relocate to the office park after Mosaic: Shaping Disabilities Services moved into a 5,500 sq ft unit last year.
East Midlands property agent Innes England advised the deal.
