Smith Cooper renews DCC sponsorship
Midlands accountancy firm Smith Cooper has extended its sponsorship deal with Derbyshire County Cricket Club for the 2011/12 season.
The deal means that the Smith Cooper logo will continue to be seen on a 12-metre sign across the balcony of the Gateway Centre Cricket Hall.
The firm, which is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, said it will continue to sponsor the Derbyshire Boundary Club luncheons. It will also advertise in the match day programme and club website.
Derbyshire’s main shirt sponsor is Old Speckled Hen.
Stuart Peck, partner at Smith Cooper, said: “Smith Cooper has supported Derbyshire County Cricket Club for many years now and we are delighted to be able to extend our support this season.”
Keith Loring, chief executive of the club, said: “We value relationships with our sponsors very highly and we are proud to prominently display the brand of such a reputable local company as we embark upon the 2011 season of cricket.”
