Subec expands with NatWest investment
A Hinckley-based distributor of paper disposable and hygiene products has relocated after securing funding from NatWest. Subec Wiping Solutions has moved into larger premises and opened a trade counter in Tungsten Park.
The company, owned by entrepreneur Susan Knight, is a wholesaler of cleaning materials, products and equipment into the UK market.
Knight said the move was necessary to accommodate increased demand for the company’s products.
She said: “We are continuingly looking at ways to grow the business. The fact was we simply did not have the space to expand in our last unit, so we have made the decision to move and provide ourselves with a facility that serves the purposes we need for now, but importantly also gives us additional room to expand.”
Nicola Miles, senior relationship manager in the commercial banking department at NatWest, added: “Sue has grown the business through a strong operating model. With the additional space they now have, this new trading unit puts the company in a great position from which to push forward and grow further.”
