Morecrofts signs HQ contract
Derby-based Morecrofts has won a contract to handle the electrical, mechanical, air conditioning and plumbing services of the new Software AG headquarters in Pride Park.
Morecrofts, based in Friar Gate in the city, has been appointed by main contractor Radleigh Group.
The company will take on the 16-week contract at the new three-storey, 20,000 sq foot building, which is the first of the next phase of The Point commercial development at Pride Park.
Morecrofts managing director Jared Mitchell said: “Despite the tough economic climate and particularly the impact on the commercial property development market, I am delighted that we continue to win significant electrical, mechanical and air conditioning contracts on this kind throughout the region.”
The site is being developed by Cedar House Investments.
