B&V Water Treatment is to embark on an expansion programme after winning £1m-worth of new orders. The firm, based in Daventry, said it will increase its operations and create new jobs, backed by funding from Yorkshire Bank in Coventry.

The company, which specialises in corrosion prevention and waste water treatment, is based in the Heartlands Business Park.

It said it has nearly doubled its workforce in the last four years, and plans to create new posts after securing several orders.

B&V said it expects revenues to rise by at least 12 per cent this year.

Simon Ward, managing director of B&V Water Treatment, said: “We have a wide range of customers from blue-chip companies to SMEs not only in the UK but across the globe from Germany to South Africa and we are expanding at a rapid rate.

“At our sites we need space for our manufacturing department, research and development division, engineers, sales, technical support and office staff.

“We took on five new staff in February and we will be looking to add to our workforce when the new unit in Badby Park opens which is where our plant and engineering will be located.”
