FBC Manby Bowdler appoints senior partner
Niall Blackie has been appointed senior partner at West Midlands law firm FBC Manby Bowdler. He replaces Gavin Southall, who has retired from the partnership.
Southall will continue working for the firm in a consultant role.
Blackie will combine his new role as senior partner with that of head of town and country planning.
He joined the firm in 1979 and became a partner in 1984. Blackie is also diocesan registrar to the diocese of Lichfield, legal secretary to the Bishop of Lichfield and registrar to Lichfield Cathedral.
He said: “I am delighted to be taking on this role at time when the firm has never been so highly rated by independent experts such as The Legal 500 and most importantly by our clients. However, I am determined that we will not rest on our laurels and endeavour to be provide an even better service.”
FBC Manby Bowdler has offices in Wolverhampton, Telford, Shropshire and Willenhall.
