Node 4, the East Midlands data centre provider, has opened a £8m data centre in Northampton. Nottingham-based designer Paragon Interiors completed the fit-out of the 41,000 sq ft site.

As well as all the internal fit-out works, Paragon reconfigured the building shell. Works included a new curtain wall and entrance and re-cladding of the two storey building. Paragon previously worked on Node 4’s first data centre in Derby.

Andrew Gilbert, managing director of Node 4, said: “Our Northampton Data Centre, offers our customers the very latest in specification and security technology, ensuring that the most mission critical applications are hosted securely and protected.”
