JBP spins out into Birmingham
PR and parliamentary affairs specialist JBP has opened a Birmingham office. The business has moved into the city centre at 3 Brindley Place.
The company, which also has offices in London, Bristol, Cardiff and New York, said the move is part of the business' plans to boost turnover from £2m to £5m in the next three years.
JBP has West Midlands-based clients including waste treatment company Knowaste, logistics business Palletways and law firm Clarke Willmott. But it said it wants to grow its business in the region.
Lis Anderson, director at JBP and head of the company’s West Midlands operation, said: "We believe there is a significant market opportunity for an experienced corporate PR and parliamentary affairs specialist in the region and we are already generating a lot of interest from potential clients.
"JBP has a firmly established reputation as a leading agency in London and the South West and a move into the West Midlands is a natural progression of our geographical footprint."
JBP said it employs 25 staff across five offices.
