Worcestershire manufacturer Uniline Safety Systems has been sold to Capital Safety Group. Shakespeare Putsman's Birmingham office advised on the deal.

The value of the deal has not been disclosed though Shakespeare Putsman described it as the "largest value transaction for (its) corporate team so far this year".

Uniline offers products and services catering to the fall protection market and operates through specialist safety companies in more than 25 countries including customers in the wind energy, utilities, marine and roof top sectors. It has 38 employees and operates out of Redditch, Worcestershire, with additional offices in Australia.

Shakespeare Putsman corporate partner Keith Spedding said: “Uniline Safety Systems has been a longstanding client of the firm. Our intellectual property team has worked with them on a number of instructions.

“The company has built a substantial reputation around the world for delivering excellence in the design, manufacture and sale of engineered fall protection systems and the deal allows Uniline to move on to the next stage in its development.”

Capital Safety Group is a worldwide supplier of fall protection systems.
