Coventry business network launched
A new business network has been launched in Coventry for graduates of a Warwick Business School programme. Small and medium sized business owners are now being invited to join the Warwick Business Growth Network (WBGN).
Business owners who have completed business development courses at Warwick Business School now have the opportunity to join the network.
WBGN, which was launched at Warwick University’s Radcliffe House, said it wants graduates to share ideas and experiences with their peers.
Jim Griffin, managing director of Rugby-based Automotive Insulations, said: “We have gone from being in trouble to having a business that is making a success. That’s one of the reasons why I wanted to get involved in the Warwick Business Growth Network.”
Headded that he hoped WBGN would allow members to exchange and generate ideas, to tap into further learning and development opportunities and to provide a “bigger, collective voice to be heard at government level”.
It was launched in the wake of Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg attending the national Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) summit at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
